Fall 2024 Endowment Aplications:
Applications are now available for pickup at our Financial Aid office. The application deadline is Friday, September 13, 2024 by 5:00 p.m.
Desbah Largo
Perpetual Scholarship in honor to Desbah Largo, donated by her family.
- Complete FAFSA on file and must demonstrate financial need
- Enrolled Full-Time in Degree Seeking Program
- 3.0 GPA or Higher for continued awards up to 8 semesters
- Enrolled member of Navajo Tribe in the Eastern Agency
- Must possess HS Diploma or GED
Ralph Casebolt Endowment
The scholarship will give preference to students without any other form of educational financial assistance for tuition, books & supplies, transportation cost, and /or child care.
- 24 earned credit hours
- Must have cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Personal statement outlining educational and career goals
- Must identify specific need
- Must maintain eligibility for Spring Award
Allen & Leone Rollie Memorial
Allen and Leone Rollie both attended UNM in the late 1920's. The donors are children and family members of Allen and Leone Rollie. The purpose of this gift is to establish a fund with the foundation to support the Nursing Program.
- Associate or Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
- Enrolled full time
- 3.0 GPA or Higher and meet satisfactory academic progress.
- A completed FAFSA/financial aid file
- Preference given to Native American students who demonstrate a financial need.
Basilio Di Gregorio
The Basilio Di Gregorio Business Scholarship is established to award students studying Business Administration.
- Students must be from the greater Gallup area, including the various Native American reservations.
- 3.0 GPA or Higher
- Enrolled in 12 credit hours
- 2 letters of reference (counselor, teacher and a member of the business community)
- Personal Essay on the importance of education and career goals
- Enrolled in Business Administration
Mary Ann Zollinger Memorial
The scholarship fund was created in her memory. Mary Ann never had the opportunity to attend a college, nor did she have the change to graduate from high school. The Zollinger family strongly feels that a person’s life can be made easier, better , and fuller with an extended education beyond high school, and thus the reason for his scholarship fund.

Nursing Endowment
The UNM-G Nursing Endowment Scholarship is available to students majoring in Nursing or Pre-Nursing.
- Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- 30 Earned Credit Hours
- Enrolled in Six Credit Hours or More
- 3.0 GPA or Higher
- Must not be a Current Recipient of the IHS or RMCHCS scholarships
- Fall Determines Spring award
Santana Andrade Memorial Nursing
Drs. Lawrence and Aedra Andrade started the scholarship in memory of their 2-year old daughter, Santana Milagros Teresa Andrade, who died in 2011 as a result of numerous medical complications. The scholarship was funded with donations from the community in memory of Santana.

- B Grade Average in High School
- Enrolled in Pre-Medicine or Nursing
Red Rock Balloon Rally
The Red Rock Rally Association offers a scholarship for the Fall semester to a UNM-G student pursuing an Associates or Bachelors degree in Health Careers.
Deadline: Fall: September 6
- Enrolled full time
- Must completed 12+ credit hours at the college level.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- A completed Financial Aid file.
- One page typed personal statement including educational /career goals
Chapter T P.E.O Irene Gurley Memorial
Chapter T P.E.O offers book scholarship to assist a woman in her endeavor to achieve her educational goals at UNM-Gallup.
- At least part time in a Certificate, Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
- Have at least 6 credit hours at college level.
- Minimum GPA of 2.8
- A complete FAFSA / Financial aid file and show unmet need.
- 1-page essay, include your educational and career goals, special achievements, awards, and/or activities.

- Must already be accepted and attending UNM Gallup
- Must be enrolled full time for Fall 2022 & Spring 2023
- Must be from New Mexico or the Navajo Nation
- Must have played sports in high school (verification required: sports awards or letter from coaches)
- Personal Essay: Identifying Educational & Career Goals, Statement Must Identify Specific Need For Scholarship
- Preference will be given to Native American students
