SBDC CONTINUES PPP ASSISTANCE
Categories: SBDC
April 27, 2020 - The Payroll Protection Program resumes today, and our Small Business Development Center continues to help local businesses navigate their way through this program and provide knowledge once funding arrives.
According to Cyndi Jarvison, director of the SBDC at UNM-Gallup, their key mission is to “continue to address the immediate needs of small businesses during this pandemic by providing them statewide resources and giving them the insight needed to plan their next move.”
Additionally, the latest iteration of the PPP and Health Care Enhancement Act provides around $750 million to tribal nation, tribal organizations, and Indian health organizations to “develop, purchase, administer, process, and analyze COVID-19 tests, scale up laboratory capacity, and trace the spread of the disease,” according to this update from the National Congress of American Indians.
