UNM NETID ENHANCEMENTS:

Recently, IT announced some enhancements to our Identity Management platform, which supports the NetID password reset service. With this first release, the NetID page has a new look and feel, as well as providing the option to add your mobile number allowing the password reset process to be completely self-service. To complete the setup of security questions, add your mobile number and an alternate email, please visit https://netid.unm.edu and go to the section titled Update My Information. Doing this now, will make the process easier the next time you need to reset your password.
COVID-19 TESTING CONTINUES THROUGH SEPTEMBER AT UNM-G

The New Mexico Department of Health announced today that it will continue to offer COVID-19 testing at UNM-Gallup's Lions Hall parking lot through the month of September; though the dates will change beginning next week to Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Pre-registration is preferred but not required. Dr. Yi-Wen Huang's podcast of her short prose piece on life during the Covid-19 quarantine was published by NoiseFilter Podcast: Educating Our Community About COVID-19 as part of the Life in Quarantine: Witnessing Global Pandemic project at Stanford University. The project is sponsored by the Center for Spatial and Textual Analysis at Stanford University.

As we implement our phased reopening plan and prepare for the fall semester, please remember that UNM Human Resources has assigned 'Bringing Back the Pack' online training. There are 7 modules within this training video and to complete takes a little over 20 mins. This training is required of all employees before they return to work on campus and has been automatically assigned in Learning Central. See: https://bringbackthepack.unm.edu/

Our campus bookstore now has an online program implemented for textbook buyback for students. Go to the bookstore's webpage and select "sell your books online." You'll then be directed to the bookstore's vendor to process your transaction. Bookstore webpage

The Zollinger Library is now accepting scanning requests from faculty. This service is available to support the scanning of materials for UNM-Gallup courses. Documents will be scanned as PDF files and emailed to or saved on a USB drive provide by the requesting instructor.

FACE MASKS OR COVERINGS REQUIRED ON FITNESS TRAIL

From the governor's latest public health order, masks or face coverings are required at all times while in public, including when exercising on trails and open spaces. Please note that face masks are now required on our fitness trail-and please remain off the equipment. Every New Mexican must work together to stem the spread of COVID-19. Get tested, stay home especially if you are sick, and wear a mask or face covering when in public and around others.
