Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Current students, staff, and faculty of UNM-Gallup may request materials through interlibrary loan that are not in the UNM-Gallup Zollinger Library.

Students, staff and faculty must have a current photo I.D. and be in good standing with the library.

  • Materials normally take two to four weeks to come in.
  • You may pick up and return materials at the Zollinger Library Service Desk.
  • You may only request resources that the library does not have. Please verify by searching the Online Catalog. Check for full-text periodical articles in the Library Databases. It can be difficult for the library to acquire copies of periodical articles from other libraries.

Please use the ILL privilege wisely and only for materials you actually intend to use. Requests should be made only for materials that are for classroom or academic research purposes.

Students are strongly encouraged to ask the Research Librarian for assistance when beginning a new project, and to make the most use out of existing resources already available here at the UNM-Gallup Zollinger Library.

NOTE: Expect longer than normal request and receipt times due to COVID19 closures and U.S. Postal Service slowdowns.
