UNM-Gallup COVID-19 Updates

Dear UNM-Gallup Community:

We hope that you and your family members are well as we work together through this unprecedented time. While the course of the COVID-19 Coronavirus remains uncertain, we are continuing the mission of UNM-Gallup and offering our students every opportunity for success in their coursework during this national crisis.

The following information and updates are intended to help us remain versed on current and relevant information related to UNM-Gallup operations during this pandemic. Please read through this carefully as this information is critical to all as we move forward now through the end of this semester.


Campus Facilities

  • Until further notice, all UNM-Gallup operations, including classes, will operate remotely via UNM Learn, email, phone, and Zoom.
  • All campus facilities will be locked and secured until further notice. No buildings will be open to the public or students. Authorized employees will be allowed limited access on an as-needed basis. The UNM-Gallup fitness trail is also closed temporarily.
  • UNM-Gallup is not closing—just facilities—as we temporarily transition our learning environments and services to online and remote access. Please refer to the resource links provided below for essential services.

UNM-Gallup Students

  • No course currently in progress will be offered in-person through the end of this semester. At this time, summer courses will also be offered remotely.
  • It’s important for you to be in contact with your instructor(s) during this period by email. Other campus resources are outlined at the end of this document for you.   • We are ensuring that any student nearing degree completion will be able to finish.

Faculty & Staff
